Worked fine right out of the box, no leaks, no issues. I do notice that surface tension does hold a little water around the tip of the spout, which then drys and leaves residue. But it's very small, and almost every fixture I've had has done it. The size is good for a bathroom sink, and the height allows you to put your hands in comfortably (meaning it's not too low or too high). The action on the lever is smooth. The finish appears to be very high quality, no thin spots, discoloration, or anything like that.
